Panthera Africa <3 Big cat lovers this is for you. A Big Cat Sanctuary has just opened it's doors in Stanford. Panthera Africa is an educational center and sanctuary for big cats, founded by Lizaene Cornwall and Cathrine S. Nyquist. This safe haven is mainly for predators such as lions, leopards, tigers and jaguars. Panthera Africa will seek to create awareness for the conservation of these threatened and endangered species through education programs for visitors and international volunteers.
